Exhibition time again

Currently working on a large painting for an exhibition in Early October, I will update with dates and things closer to the time. I will also update the progress via the ‘paintbox’ page. Other than that nothing too exciting is going on, however a possible trip to the homeland is on the horizon for the end of August (hence the haste with the painting) and a new nephew. Also trying to update the website and make it faster, so if anything isn’t loading, it soon will (looking at you Galleries).

Summer

Teaching Yoga in the summer is kind of a new experience for me and a bit of a shock. A shock in the sense that as a teacher your classes dramatically drop off due to summer schedules/peoples holidays (even mine) and whatnots (hopefully not due to duff classes).
What is good about them though is you can really get to know students a lot better which is always a learning experience. I have so far been invited to a Buddhist chanting celebration and two Jazz evening this week and learned a heck of a lot more about Jersey city (the City I live in) this week than the whole 3 years I’ve lived here.
Also I have given some very dedicated students some much needed one-one time that they might not necessarily have the time/money to seek out. Which has been a joy for me also.

Anyway not really sure there is much to this post, but I wanted to add a little something, something to my site.
